Being prepared??

Question

Is it too early to pack a bag for the hospital ? Or set up the crib ? I'm 35 weeks and some people say it's too early to do all of that when I say I want to start being prepared just incase 🤔

I've had my nursery pretty much set up since I was 15 weeks!! I'm 22+5 now. I'd do the hospital bag if I were you! Definitely the crib ASAP.

Nope. It's never too early for two reasons: if you go into premature labor or the happier reason, it'll be less stress on you and one less thing you need to worry about.

I had my nursery set up around 20 weeks pregnant, still putting things away but all the furniture is in place and clothes put away. My living room is set up with the swing,chair and play pen. My bedroom has the bassinet put in place. I'm packing my baby bag for hospital this weekend. I'm 30 weeks now. Honestly I wanted to have everything ready just in case, you never know when your little one will arrive and you don't want to be super tired and not feeling it. I enjoyed putting everything together, now I've lost so much energy and I just don't feel like doing much, thankfully all the hard things are taken care of and I've had a lot of fun doing so

I had my bag in the car everyday from 32 weeks on and went into labor 36+6

No it's not too early at all. We had the crib set up at like 20 weeks lol and it never hurts to have it done early. You never know if you're gonna run out of time or go into labor early. Plus it's one less thing to stress about when you have a ton of other things to worry about and plan

I don't think it's to early lol it's up to you really :) I know people have have had their baby's about that far so I think this would be the perfect time to start getting ready

I don't think it's too early. As long as you pack stuff you aren't going to use between now and then. That might be annoying to have to go into the bag and get something and then have to remember to put it back. I've known ppl who pack earlier than you. It's totally your preference. As it is with the crib. I've seen ladies on here who have their crib set up at 20 weeks lol. Nothing wrong with being prepared. Especially since you could end up going early. My daughter came at 38 weeks.
