Hi ladies!
I'm Sarah. I'm a 27 yo wife, and a mother to two beautiful little girls aged 4 and 2. I am a stay at home mama who is a self employed portrait photographer :)
I created this group, because I noticed that there were no groups like this on glow.
A little about my story
I had a partial molar pregnancy in April this year. I had a d&c on the 4th of April, and a 12 week old baby was found. Luckily for us, we were able to have our baby cremated.
I had weekly blood draws after my surgery, and in May I was called by my doctor. My levels had risen twice. I was referred to a gynaecological oncologist for further treatment. I had a chest x-Ray to make sure the tumour hadn't spread, and a pelvic ultrasound that confirmed our fears. The tumour had grown back.
I started chemo in May, it was called methotrexate. I had my shots intramuscularly in my butt, every second day for a week. Then I would have a week's break for my liver, and start all over again.
I finished chemo in August after 7 cycles and 28 rounds of methotrexate. We've been told that we can ttc our rainbow after 6 months.
So that's my little story! Please feel free to share yours 😘
