I am 7 weeks. I have already seen baby and heartbeat but I am so afraid to be happy because I feel like something will happen. :/ how far along were you when you realized and got excited??

I would put that guard down and be excited about it. Easier said than done but if somethings going to happen then there will be nothing you can do to prevent it. Your chances of miscarriage after seeing heartbeat are slim to none. Don't stress momma. Enjoy your pregnancy and don't let fear steal that from you❤️

I had a miscarriage in May, and am totally paranoid with this pregnancy (I haven't been able to really get excited yet bc I am so panicked). Yesterday I saw my OB-GYN at 7w5d. She said that with the good measurements, strong heartbeat (165bpm) and my age (30), that the chances of miscarriage are under 3%. I was shocked. I thought the risk would be higher! So I'm feeling pretty relieved! Not totally in celebration mode just yet, but definitely finding it easier to breathe. Good luck, mama!

Don't worry, I think we all get paranoid because we see many miscarriages on this forum but it's only because people with the negative experiences are posting, not everyone. This makes us feel it's super possible, when in fact the likelihood isn't that high

My dr told me that once you get an ultrasound & see/hear the heartbeat the chance for mc goes down to 5%.
