I'm due October 17th and i have been experiencing mild cramps such as period kind I dnt exactly remember all this during my first pregnancy! is it normal?

Wow I have the same due date. I went to the hospital on Wednesday and was having contractions every minute lasting about 20 seconds each. Was put on a medicine to stop contractions. I was not dialated at all and my cervix is high. What you are describing is how I was feeling. Dr told me yesterday as of Monday they will not stop labor at all. I'm kind of freaking out. I would get checked out.
