How do you know that you met your soul mate?

He's the ONLY man I've ever been with that could make me so mad but would want nothing but to snuggle with him at night. Only one that gets my humor and honestly the only man who has seen me at my worst (best as well) and I feel so so comfortable around him. He excepts all my horror. Haha.

I personally don't believe in soul mates. So, for me, it was a choice. I chose my husband because he sacrificed for me, understood me, loved Jesus, made me laugh every day, made me comfortable being who I was, and loves children. It is a choice for us to love and commit to each other every single day, and I wouldn't change anything. I'm crazy about the man that I married (married over a year) and my love for him grows so much every day.

I know it's a useless statement to make but the phrase "you just know" is so accurate. I met my husband when I was 17 and he was 19. Neither of us wanted a relationship at that age, but when we met each other that all changed. When I'm with him, my soul feels peaceful. I'm completely myself with him and always feel loved and accepted. I've never once questioned that he loved me or wanted to be with me. Don't ever settle down with someone who doesn't treat you that way!

Honestly, if the person can be a pain in the butt and you still love him at the end of the day, then that's the one. Lol sometimes we are so caught up in the lovey dovey stage that we forget the bad side and bad habits of your partner. And once you see it is when you decide if you can live with that for the rest of your life. It was all fairy tale with my last ex boyfriend, and I ended up dumping him because he would delay and delay us ever being together with kids or beings married in general. So no future. My husband was my best friend in college and when he told me he was in love with me it was an emotional rollercoaster. And even the things I absolutely disliked about him I knew I could compromise with him. So I knew it was him. We've been married 3 years already :)

I thought I met my soul mate when I was 23 and 29 and 30... but NOPE Not even close!! I'm 42, so it took time, lol... we new each other yrs back, always thought about him...smd then one day i saw his face again and BAM... since day 1 I can't stand being wo my man. I miss him and always look forward to seeing his face. I'd do anything for him, and vise versa... sounds corny but after 4 yrs we both feel this way
