help!! TMI pic

I'm 38 weeks and last night at around 9pm I had a vaginal examination to check to see if my waters had gone. My waters hadn't broke and she said my womb was closed. I had a bit of spotting afterwards but i woke up this morning and had some brown discharge in my panty liner, almost like the amount of when you are at the end of your period. I have been in the bath about 2 hour ago and have just been to the toilet and when I wiped this was there? Now I'm confused as to whether this is my mucus plug as it has fresh blood in it or what?😩(it is now 4pm)
