Need some honest advice!

The babe and I have been together 3 years (this past July)

I love him dearly. We went through a little break up a few months after we started dating because there was a lot of stuff going on in our lives. Anyways. We got back together and have been great ever since.

I guess you guys would appreciate some background information. Umm I am 26 he's 34. I have a full time job (diesel mechanic) He has a full time job (welder). No kids together, he has 2 kids from a previous relationship. He and I do not live together. I think that's really all that you guys need to know!

We've spoken about marriage a few times. And he seems cool with the idea of getting married someday. Getting a house together. That sort of thing.

Well I was at his place and we had finished having sex and I said to him "I cant wait to marry you" and I kissed him sort of thing.

Then I kid you not he sat up and was like "really?"

I was like yes really.

He was like "I'm going to the gym"

I was pretty taken aback. Like I don't think I did anything wrong did I? As he grabbed his gym bag he yelled at me and was like "all you do is pressure me into marrying you!"

I said I wasn't trying to put pressure on you. Just saying I love you and hope to marry you sort of thing. He shook his head and walked out and said talk to you later.

I'm not a pushy person. I mean I've never been like that. Was I being pushy? I didn't mean to. But now he's obviously left and I just drove home since I couldn't do much else.
