Is a month before due date too late for a baby shower?

I'm due February 4th. I have alot to do in the next 3 months in time for December. I have to do decorating, get all babies stuff etc. Then of course when that's all done, I have to focus on Christmas and spending money on that. So that leaves me with January to have a baby shower. I plan to do it right at the start because I could go into labour late January. It's not too late is it?
