Does clomid mess up your cycle length?

This was my first cycle on clomid. My period is 4 days late, pregnancy tests all negative. So irritating. Nothing like getting your hopes up when your late... just to get negative tests.

Its my 1st month taking chlomid i sure hope not im due on in 5 days and if im not pregnant i need to come on that day really any later than im gonna miss my fertile period as my partner will be away that weekend on a work lads holiday 😔

Clomid can make your cycle longer. Chances are you aren't late, but that you ovulated later than usual.  I strongly suggest familiarizing yourself with your cycle (luteal phase length and confirming O with temps, plus using OPKs, otherwise you're basically wasting cycles.)

Did you confirm you ovulated this month with temps? If not, then it's impossible to know if you're late.  Cycle to cycle, the time between your period and ovulation varies,  but the time between ovulation and period remains approximately the same. So often times women mistake their period for being late, when really they just ovulated later.  Test again in a few days, eventually you'll either get a BFP or your period.
