27 weeks and I have no clue what to do! What even is a registry? Are people supposed to sign a guest book? What do they even do at baby showers? I'm dying! Please help me!

Lmfao i was in the same situation. All i did was have a bbq party and people brought me gifts. It was jack an jill as well which made more people because friends isnt a thing with me lol.

When you go to a baby store go to the registry desk or customer service and tell them you want to open a registry. They will give you a Barcode scanner and you can scan all the stuff you want. You can also usually do it online. Then your friends and family go to the store and look up your registry and can buy what you picked out.

What happens at your shower can be whatever you want. You don't need a guest book, but could have one if you wanted. You just get together and eat some food. A lot of people play little shower games, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Then you open presents.

It's your baby shower you can plan it however you want ! There are some people that get really fancy and rent a venue and all but you can be very casual with it. For my first, I rented a venue and had games and the whole thing, but for this baby I'm having a baby shower brunch with my closest girls and they're paying for their own food, and then I'm having a family luncheon at my house for the family. No games this time just food and gifts :) if it wasn't because I need basically everything (since my son is five) I really wouldn't be having anything.

A registry is for things you need for your baby or what you want for your baby. Your guests can get on there & see what to get you for your baby shower. It's up to you whether you want your guests to sign a guest book.
