To everyone worried or scared about birth

(WARNING THIS IS LONG!) I was TERRIFIED I read everything and anything and every labor and delivery story there was! I was set to be induced 9/4 39 weeks 1 day due to my doctor deciding it'd be ok because of my uncomfortable bruised ribs!(ya she was crazy) I went in about 5pm and they immediately got me set up and proceeded to check my cervix, SURPRISE my uterus is completely tilted downwards 😑 so a nurse had to come in and pretty much go elbow deep (exaggerated) to see I was about 60% effaced 1 cm dilated. So no cervadil needed I jumped onto pitocin! They up it every half hour! I immediately felt contractions I swayed my knees and breathed through and thought "this ain't so bad!" 3 hours later I died a little bit inside. THEY WERE HORRIBLE. And as I was lying in pain, poof water breaks! Super sexy. I got checked and the lovely nurse then HOOKED MY DAMN UTERUS WITH HER FINGER AND PULLED IT UP😩😩😩😩😩😩 but I was dilated to a 4 and opted for an epidural. PAINLESS PEOPLE!!! Nothing compares to contractions! As soon as I got it I began to chill and napped and watched tv due to being too nervous to really really sleep (big mistake btw) few hours later I was checked again BOOM hello 7! My bf decided now was the time to go home and walk the dogs a final time! 20 mins later I complained on feeling a bit of pressure checked and um hellllo 9 almost friggin 10! I called my bf and was like GET HERE NOW ASSHOLE! We waited a little bit until her head was dropped far enough to begin pushing and boom happened within the hour! Now not to say my epi wore off but the contractions were so strong I began to feel little things! 😫 nurses came in and I began to push to crown MAN was I tired. But I made great progress! All of a sudden my doctor runs in scrubs up places a warm towel on my chest and comes to me and tells me it's time to really give it all I got. OMFG, it was HARD I was losing it! My mom then said "honey she's here do this!!" She gave me ice chips I pushed 3 more times count of 10 and told my doctor I was done and couldn't do it. She looked at me dead in the eye and said "you have no choice PUSH!!!!" So I did it and felt this little worm poof fall out and bam there was my daughter! 8 pounds 1 oz 20 inches long! Every nurse in the room cried due to how beautiful my birth was! All in all I was 12 hours in labor and only pushed for an hour with one stitch! Coming from a 24 year old FTM with so much anxiety, YOU CAN DO THIS. My worst fear was ending up in c section HAVE FAITH IN YOUR BODY! Think that every second of the way! Prepare yourself for the hardest time in your life but the after is so bitter sweet! I feel accomplished and confident and of course rewarded with a perfect little human 💜 Penelope Rae Cifuentes you give me life
