Coochie pains

Every time I'm on my period, I get cramps and stuff like normal but everywhere from my mid thigh to my boobs. I mean every where. So I get this dull sort of ache on my vulva and a lot of pressure in my vagina. And it's hella uncomfortable as you can imagine. My outer vag will feel like I had a hard night if you know what i mean and be sore and tender an occasionally a bit swollen. It doesn't hurt per se but it doesn't feel nice. Is this normal?
