Deciding a name for your baby

How old were you when you started searching for baby names? I honestly can say when I was like 15 my mom and I had a conversation about baby names and she picked out a girl name for me when and if I ever have one. It's adorable too she picked out Emma Jeanne and then later on down the road I picked out a boy name. John Michael Thomas. If I have a boy he will be name after my moms dad with the first name the two middle names come from Michael being my bfs middle name and Thomas being my bfs dads name. Btw I have more names that I love too. What names stand out the most and are they names of relatives?
