post partum insomnia??

I cannot sleep!! Even when my baby and husband are asleep I just cannot fall asleep. I'm very sensitive to sleeping pills so if i take them I'm out. I just cannot sleep ever! Anyone have this problem and fixed it without pills?

Yes, I use wax ear plugs and a sleeping mask. I don't put the ear plugs to far in, so I can still hear my baby. They do help block noise and light. Also we use a noise monitor. I still struggle with sleeping, but these really help.

Yep. Be careful tho, lack of sleep can definitely affect your mood and may even be a symptom of ppd. After I had my first baby I had terrible ppd and one big symptom was insomnia. I'd be exhausted but never able to sleep.
