6+3 weeks. Stop working or not?

I'm working as a nanny 11 hours a day. I had last week off when morning sickness hit me like a truck. I'm planning to tell my boss tomorrow when I go back that I don't think I can work 11 hours. Maybe half day (she has people for backup care). What do you think? I'm so tired and sick everyday that I haven't leave my house in 5 days.

My first trimester I was miserable not a day went by I was nauseous or puking and the servers congestion was there every single day. I couldn't work, my boyfriend works and he told me not to cause of how sick I was everyday. I'm in my second now and everything easing up, slowly but it is!

I'd say weigh all the options. If you don't think you can do it then quit of cut back but the nausea and exhaustion will most likely pass.

I am not sick but I don't work. My boyfriend doesn't want me to. Lol. I'm 28+5. This time with a boy. Yay! But if your constantly sick to where nothing stays down..? Tell your doctor you need something for nausea. Just don't take anything that's recalled because some doctors still prescribe them saying they have no ill effects on baby. But if worried then you can always go to a maternity store for some preggy pop drops or some preggy pops. There good too. YUM.

It will likely get better. You're still in your first trimester. Once you hit the second trimester and start feeling great again, you'll wish you were working 11 hours. It's your call -- only you know what you can handle physically, emotionally, and financially.
