threatened miscarriage ??

Hello lovely ladies. I am 5 weeks pregnant and in the early hours of Thursday morning I woke up with period like cramps,I went to the toilet and saw that I was also bleeding. (Bright red blood) 
I went to see my GP first thing Friday morning and she has said that its a threatened miscarriage. Today ( Friday ) the bleeding is a lot lighter and the cramps have almost gone. Has anyone else had a threatened miscarriage and gone on to have a successful pregnency?

I did when I started bleeding around 15 weeks with my first. By 20 weeks the bleeding/spotting stopped and everything was fine! She is now about to be 5 in November!

It's called a threatened miscarriage because about half end up being successful pregnancies.

I am going through the exact same thing! I woke up Monday morning with period like blood, and immediately went into my OB and they did a TV US. We thought I was 7 weeks, turns out I’m only 5. The next day the bleeding was so light and barely there! I am now waiting until next week for another US, and I’m hoping everything is okay!🤞

I did and as i got farther along the dr noticed i had a sub cronic hemorrhage that was behind my placenta and one on between my uterus and the babies sac causing the bleeding

I did and got pregnant that same month with my now healthy 6yo boys. It very common.. sorry for you lose. And good luck.
