Hpv... how to tell my fiance?

I had my yearly gyno appointment on Aug. 30. I got a call today saying that there was some abnormalities on the cervix. I now have to go back on Oct 4th to get tested again... how do I go about telling my fiance about this? I want him to know.

Update... I did tell him. (Poor guy was at work tho..) he is taking off work early to go with me to the appointment. He gave me the biggest hug when he got home and said that no matter what the outcome is, we are in this together and he would be by my side every step of the way...
