When to take baby out?

My baby is only 2weeks 2days old I really want to go to Walmart while I have a ride. I can't leave him with my grandmother because I know I'll be gone for a few hours. Isn't he too little to be going places right now? I didn't take my other kids out until they were at least 6weeks unless they had a doctor appointment. Im getting real depressed sitting in the house. I don't even sit outside on the porch anymore.
