episiotomy soreness… still?
So I underwent an episiotomy for a second time (😢) while delivering my second child and am still experiencing soreness during/after intercourse even at 26 weeks PP
TMI- I sometimes have to stop intercourse because I get a stretching pain at my perineum that feels like I was stitched closed a little too much/too high (I've heard this called the 'midwife stitch')
Anyone else experiencing this as well or have any tips for relief?
My insurance makes it difficult for me to see an OBGYN unless I'm currently pregnant and though I love the friendly staff at my neighborhood Planned Parenthood, this stuff isn't always enjoyable to discuss with strangers
