What happens right after a csection?

Im curious to know. Does baby stay with father in a room after? Do they let visitors in at that time ? I wanna be the first to meet my baby not anyone else but my hubby 😒

The hospital I'm delivering at treats it like a vaginal delivery with skin to skin & everything as long as it's not an emergency situation.

If I remember correctly, I saw my daughter before they took her and her daddy to the nursery.  They stayed I'm their til I was transferred to recovery and the nurse finished all the tests.

It might depend on your hospital,  but at mine they encourage skin to skin with mom right after the baby is born.  The baby might need to be held for a short time by the birth partner while the mom gets sorted, but they are kept close.
