I'm planning on having the first 1-2 hours after our daughter is born to be time for bonding with me, hubby, and baby. I'm also planning on having the delivery with only my husband there, and allowing visitors after the 1-2 hrs when we're ready. I told my mom this and she got apprehensive saying "well I want to see my granddaughter after she's born". This is her first, and I get she's excited, but I feel she should just respect our wishes for the birth of our first child. After telling her that, she said fine, but that she hopes we lighten up when the time comes. Not really sure how to handle this, tips?
