Water broke at 12:07 am, followed by menstrual like cramps and then contractions 3 minutes apart by 7 am. I was 6 cm dilated at 7a and went for the epidural ( really glad I did). By noon, I was 10cm and ready to push! Well.....my contractions become irregular and longer, pitocin was started ( not bad) and I just couldn't push bc I couldn't feel sensation. I tried, was exhausted, the epidural did not completely block me so I felt pain in one area (yikes). At 11:30 pm, he came out with forceps help and doing fine! 8lbs 0.4oz, 22 inches long!
