Do you think that your parents should have given you a better sexual education?

This is a poll for sexual education awareness. Teaching your kiddo how to manage his or her sexual life in a smart and adult way when he or she enters adolescence, will make him take better decisions. Talk to them about all of the birth control that exists so they can choose and become wise in that matter.

My mom literally just said sex was a gift from God between a married couple...that's it. So yes, I wish I had learned more from education and my parents 😂

I basically got no sex ed so I have no clue how I grew up and wasn't clueless lol. My parents didn't say much. We moved when I was in elementary school and my old school hadn't done the intro puberty/sex ed thing yet but my new school had so I missed that. Then in high school we had the most ridiculous abstinence only 2 week class that spent more time making us talk about qualities we want in a husband than sex, pregnancy or STDs. I had pretty free access to the Internet though so I just googled stuff lol.

My mom talked with me, and told me everything I needed to know when I got my period. I felt comfortable going to her when I wanted to get on BC (for my period being so awful, at the time), and she made it clear to always use condoms. I'm now 29, no pregnancy or std scares, married, and TTC #1. :) I definitely think that children need sex education.

My parents never talked to us about sex. And when they found out i was having it they made me feel like i was doing something wrong and i was a horrible person for having sex when i wasnt married to them

My parents told me that sex is a gift that God wants you to save for marriage. I really wanted to know about protection and how women get pregnant. They told me that it matters when you get married. I swear that's how religious families end up saying "How did this happen! I thought we told you about sex!!!". More info please!😂😂😂
