So I removed my IUD after 8 years plus was on the pill before. When I was a teenager I remember very heavy periods. Birth control pills cut it down a lot but I would be 3 weeks on one week off at times. IUD was the best of all worlds because I would get fake periods of brown discharge spotting for maybe 3 days. Well now that we are trying to make a baby, my period is back. It's back like it was when I was 14. Blacking out because so much blood, dizzy spells, no energy, and changing a thick pad every hour or two. Is this normal? How can I cut this down? Is it worth it to be off birth control is this is the alternative? Doesn't help that I'm anemic, and now heavy blood flow!
