Iron infusions??

Has anyone had to get iron infusions before??

I did from being severly anemic i got a pint every week for about a month i believe it looked brown like soda but i believe there is diffrent kinds. I had no symtoms after but i did experience some bone pain but i guess it was normal.

And they monitor you like a hour after to see if you get an allergic reAction and if so they treat and stop right away.

I did! I was nervous because they do them at the cancer center around here. It wasn't fun, but it was fine and worked great for me!

Yep! Not the most fun thing to do nor is it a quick process but it's simple. :) I had to have them done every other day for 2 weeks. At the end of it, my veins were so exhausted from being poked so often that 4 ended up collapsing within 45 minutes but they quickly got a doctor in for me and he took care of things perfectly!
