how many cm are you ?

So I'm 4 cm dilated and went to the hospital with high blood pressure and they sent me home wtf I'm going to end up giving birth at home how many cm where u when they let you stay I wanna get a epidural I don't wanna feel shit you feel me ?!

I am 40 weeks 2 days as of now. I dilated to 3 cm within a week and didn't feel anything, then have stayed at 3cm for almost 2 weeks now with random contractions. Will see where I am at my appointment on Wednesday. The contractions are getting more frequent but not bad enough yet.

When I hit a 4, my Dr won't let me go home because I have very short labor's and I live about an hour away. Baby # 4 is coming Thursday if I'm at 4cm for my appointment!  Having mixed feelings about it tho cause that's also my oldest 5th birthday .

My ob says she won't let me go home once I hit 5 cm. and that she'll administer an epidural when I'm at 5 cm or when I'm having 5-1-1 contractions and my pain is at a 5 because I have low pain tolerance. 
So as far as I know 5 is the magic number

My hospital won't even check me till after 39 weeks m, I'm 38+3 weeks now but you can be at a 4 for weeks. If you were having other signs they would have kept you for sure.
