Dogs and pregnancy??

Question

When r animals preferably dogs supposed to know when a female is pregnant because I am almost 13 weeks and my dog doesn't even care she will step and run all over and across my stomach.??

My pit started falling me around before I knew I was pregnant. Now both my girls are super protective. Have been get more and more protective also. I'll be 29 weeks on Wednesday. I think it just depends on the dog.

My dogs noticed around 4 weeks with me. One of them kept following me around, which is normal for her, but she got bad. Had to be with me all the time. If I changed position on the couch she would sit up. She knew before I did. Lol. It all made sense a week later when I tested. They are good about not stepping on me when we are laying down but when I walk in the door they forget about it haha.

My dogs haven't noticed a thing. I'm only 7 weeks mind you. But my cats won't leave me alone. We have two cats, one is attached to me, the other to my hubby. His cat normally doesn't even let me touch it lol but he has been cuddling me non stop.

My dog has always been a Velcro dog so it would be tough to tell (and I'm also only 5 weeks). She's also definitely not gentile and she's super clumsy so we're going to have to work on that.

For me, dogs have been overly attached since I was 4 weeks pregnant. My dog won't leave my side, my mom's dog is consistently and literally in my face, if I spend the night at a friend's, their dogs sleep right next to me. It's been pretty silly. I think some dogs just don't care that much, or maybe they want to be close because they know you're pregnant but aren't aware that they shouldn't walk on your belly... idk... lol

My dog started acting more cuddly and protective before I even found out I was pregnant (one of the reasons I was suspicious enough to take a test). He has to be right next to me every time were on the couch or laying in bed. He will often put his head on my belly (not much there at 10+3) but he is super protective when our female pup tries to get playful with me. He steps in between her and I and barks at her until she stops.

My dogs picked it up almost immediately. However, I hear sometimes the females will ignore you and males be more under you.
My male boxer is all over me, our female pit is very motherly so she's under me, but our male shiba doesn't care.
