insurance question

Hi,

I've heard some people say that your maximum out of pocket and your deductible double for your delivery and associated care since the baby is automatically added to the mother's insurance so it's another family member with their own deductible and out of pocket.

I tried calling my insurance (Anthem Blue Cross) to confirm, but the people I spoke to weren't really sure and transferred me around until I got cut-off.

What are everyone else's experiences, and with what provider?
