ENJOY IT! (long read, just have to share)
As I scroll through these message boards, I see so many beautiful mamas who are desperate to have their babies early or have an expectation that they will be right on time and that is definitely not always going to happen!
I'm a FTM and thought "oh she'll be here early." And then she didn't. Next thing I know it's my due date and I still have zero signs of labor starting anytime soon. So now I'm in panic mode like everyone else seems to be to try to naturally induce labor with all of these crazy things. You know what I'm talking about: pineapple cores, castor oil, bumpy car rides, walking for miles etc etc.
I'm now 3 days overdue and still not having any contractions, haven't lost my mucous plug, and no bloody show. Every time someone asks me when my daughter will be here I literally cringe. I HAVE NO IDEA! Because the reality is my body and my baby will know when it's time.
I've made the conscious decision to simply stop trying to predict my daughters birth and stop trying to make my body start laboring. So many women are not able to experience the miracle that is growing a child. I'm going to soak up these last days of my pregnancy for all I can❤️ enjoy your time beautiful mommas!! When the time is right, it will happen!
