Should I get induced?

I'm going to the doctors tomorrow I'm 39 weeks. My doctor said he can induce after 39 or should I wait until 40? I spend all day in bed due to severe pre pregnancy back problems. I'm just really afraid if I get induced it's going to be a harder labor. My first two kids came at 35 and 36 weeks. I feel like this baby needs a push. Induce or not induce? That's the question?

I had my dr visit today I'm 38wks and 5 days. I've been measuring big this whole pregnancy and big babies seem to run in my family. My babygirl weighed 8 1/2lbs 3wks ago and my dr has been saying for wks now I'd prolly go at 38 well I'm not dilated or thinned any. Today he gave me the option to be put in the hospital Thursday afternoon to be induced or wait till I'm 40wks. I'm just scared she will weigh over 10lbs going on 11 if I wait any longer so I chose to be induced Thursday. I really hope I cooperate with the meds and I have her this weekend. I just know it's going to be a long labor as it being my first At that. He even mentioned starting the process N if nothing happened then sending me home got a few days. If that's the case I may go with a c section.

I think it's better to wait until your body naturally goes into labor, inductions can lead to unnecessary interventions and issues BUT if you're absolutely miserable and it's an option then go with what you feel is right for your body, mama!

Oh man, I'm in the same boat. My first was born at 34 weeks, second at 36 weeks and now I'm 2 days shy of 40 weeks and shes measuring big. I've never been this pregnant before and of course I'm glad no preterm labor this time so baby is more than ready but I'm debating just to keep going till I'm 41 weeks or just induce now at 40 or 40.5 because she seems to have to rush to come. I worry about cord issues, and just anything happening while she's still in my belly but I'm a worry wart so idk what to do. Just hoping she comes on her own on my due date like clock work 😩🙏🏼
