Rocker/Glider: Do you actually use yours?

Question

Whether it is a rocker or a glider I'm just curious if you moms out there actually use them and like them. I'm a first time mom and I'm clueless I'll admit. Two coworkers told me today they never used theirs. I thought it's something I'd need and use but will I?

We used our religiously! I'm going with one that reclines this time bc between night nursing and just the nights we fell alseep with Them in our arms bc they were fussy or having a hard time staying alseep we figured it was def worth it. It was the most used thing in the nursery the first year.

I got an electric recliner instead. Best thing I ever got. Especially toward the end of pregnancy. My daughter will be 2 months old Thursday and we use it all of the time. Feeding. Napping. Laying her down on it to swaddle her. I recommend getting one at a used furniture store. I got ours for $200.

I use mine all the time! My baby loves movement but doesn't like her swing, so rocking is much better than walking around the house all the time.

I used mine for nursing in the night. It also has a lock so when I'm super tired I can recline it and not worry if I fall asleep because baby will be safe.

We had a glider with my son and we both hated it. I'm 32+2 now with our daughter and we just had a recliner delivered for her nursery. Much more comfortable!!

We actually went with a traditional recliner! So much more comfortable than some of the ones we sat in.
