I had a 26 month old girl and am expecting baby girl #2 is December.  My mom matter of factly said "you won't be having a shower since you just had one a couple years ago."  However my best friend is asking me I she can throw me one.  I'm feeling kinda mixed.  I think this baby and pregnancy should be celebrated too, but I also don't want people to think it's tacky to have another.   What's the norm? What's everyone else doing?  Does it matter that baby 2 is the same gender?
