My Birth Story.
I went to my obgyn and she told me I might of had a bleed and that me and my sons blood might of been transfusing together which is extremely dangerous and can cause still-birth. I had already been seeing a fetal maternal medicine doctor Because I have severe anemia. So severe that my hemoglobin level was at a 5.6 and I needed to be transfused. So Because there was a possibility of this blood to blood contact, I made a emergency appointment with my fetal doctor so I could be checked by him and so he could make a decision based on my test results what the next step would be. When I arrived to the doctor I started to have contractions none that I could feel but all coming within a couple of minutes together. This was visible on the monitor. in the doctors office when he checked me I was only 1cm dialted and only 35weeks 3 days pregnant but measuring big at 37 weeks 3 days. He then checked my sons brain and said he could be developing fetal anemia and because the possibility of this bleed they no longer wanted to risk a still birth or retardation. They brought me into the emergency room and started to induce me. I was in labor for 26 hours from when they started to induce me. The worst part was I had a allergic reaction to the catheter and the swelling was horrible, but the contractions only felt like really strong cramps. I went from 5cm to 10cm in 30 minutes, when the doctor told me to push I was able to get my son out in 22 minutes exactly. The pain was nothing compared to a whole life of happiness. Once he is placed on your chest all the pain drifts alway. For all the moms who were nervous or are still nervous there is no better feeling and the pain was bare able for me. I recommend getting a epidural because you don't know how long you are going to be in labor for and labor is just exhausting. I wish you all the best . This is my son Baby Noah born premature at 35 Weeks 4 days , he did not have to spend anytime in NICU. born at 8:55pm weighing 6lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. I thank god he is healthy and happy.
