is my supply done?

So my husband is basically useless and I might as well call myself a single parent. My 13 day old newborn is very fussy and needs to be held almost all of the time, making it impossible to pump more than once or twice a day. Just now, after half an hour, I only got a few drops. Is it too late to try to boost my supply? Also, baby won't feed on my breast so I have to pump.

My midwife said to let the baby suckle even if they aren't getting anything as its stimulation that increases your milk, and they do it better than any machine. 
My milk was low. So I let her stay on and basically use me as a dummy.

I'm so sorry your partner is supportive! Breastfeeding is a huge feat and you need all the support you can get especially if you're exclusively pumping! It is not too late for you to get your supply up. There are so many things you can do. You just have to find what works for you. Here are a list of things to try: 
 Drink tons of water. 
Keep pumping even though it seems like nothing is coming out eventually you will see a change. Look up power pumping. 
Make you some lactation cookies. There are plenty of recipes online. 
Get some Mothers Milk tea

I breastfed my son for a year, mostly pumping for him. And I made lactation cookies to keep my supply up. Other women swear by the Mothers milk tea and I think it's available at Target.

If you don't mind me asking, why can't you nurse your little one?

I wish I could help you, but I am literally in the exact same position. My husband works 12 hr days and is gone most of the time and I am in the same boat.

Try to contact a lactation consultant or your local La Leche League to get help, support and advice.

At this early of a stage your supply shouldn't be that diminished. Has anyone gone over with you how to pump or how to use your pump?

Try hot chocolate you can literally feel your milk come down while drinking it. Also warm food like chicken soup.

Not all women respond to pumps. It's possible you are making more than you think.

I tried a nipple shield too with my first but some people say they confuse the baby more. My daughter was such a pain with feeding so I fell you! I find holding my breast helps keep the latch and gets a better feed.

My husband works 3rd shift 12 hr days and sleeps during the day 😢 but my supply is good. Do u have a hands free pump setup? I use the freestyle by Mesela and the hands free bra setup works good for me. My lil man has colic so it's very hard but don't give up!!!

You can boost your supply by getting as much pumping sessions in as possible. Don't think about the amount time so much rather how many times in total. I would say try a different size and type nipple shield also to see if baby latches.

Don't knw what kind of pump you have but pumping bras can help you hold the baby while pumping. Good luck.
