what would you do?

I go to community college and yesterdaynin one of my career classes we were supposed to share what we wanted to do with our lives (real estate for me) and what my parents did. My dad works for the government and my mom works as a marketing director. Once i shared where my dad worked this girl decided to share her beliefs that my dad is probably screwing our country up and is the reason why her health care is so expensive and that (literally what she said) "he is probably the reason we're being invaded with terrorists" my teacher didn't do anything to stop her but I politely explained my dad has nothing to do with this because he works in the FAA (Federal Avation Assosiation) and that basically he makes sure that the planes we get into are government approved. She wouldn't have it and kept going off.
