When do you start buying diapers and what brand?

Hello ladies! I'm 17 weeks myself and was wondering when do you start stocking up on diapers? And what brands do people like? I'm a first time mom and would love any feedback! Thanks!

This is my 3rd baby and I've tried all the diaper brands. My absolute favorite are Earth's Best diapers. They are chlorine free and more natural and my children have never had a diaper rash using this brand (the ammonia in urine can interact with the chlorine and cause diaper rash). They are thick and absorbent and it's a weird thing to like but I just really like that they are plain white with nothing on them. :) I compare them to Honest diapers in quality and make up, however they are half the price. I use Amazon subscribe and save an get 20% off the diapers. Then I have them shipped to my home automatically every month and it's wonderful! So I don't stock up on diapers, just have about 4 packages of newborns on hand and that's it. I pay $30-35 a month on diapers which feels like a great deal to me, especially for such quality diapers. Oh, and I case you are wondering Costco has the best wipes! 900 wipes for $19.99 and they are thick! One case lasts me about 3 months.

I haven't started yet but will here soon and am 16 weeks. I prefer pampers swaddlers sensitive for newborn then pampers swaddlers til the biggest size. They are so soft. If $ is tight I buy target brand when older and then will likely do Costco for 1 yr and up.

It totally depends on your baby's body shape (seriously!) I found pampers amazing and huggies/honest leaked a bit more, but my son is very long and lean. If your baby is rounder then huggies may work great for you. I wouldn't stock up too much unless you can exchange them once baby is here

I'm almost 17 weeks and have already bought a couple packages. Huggies are my preference but I will also use Pampers if there is a sale or if I have a good coupon. This is my 3rd baby. My 1st a girl I used a lot of Luvs with. My 2nd a boy though I had issues with them leaking out the sides. I think it all depends on the baby and you have to find what works best for your baby.

Im sticking with Luvs. Its the only brand I could wear as a baby. And im havingna diaper and wipe party a month before baby is born. That way no one gets all the same size.

We're doing cloth. I'm getting some Flip hybrids, apple cheeks pocket diapers, and some bum genius 5.0 pockets. I figure I'll try a few brands to get a feel then stock up on more.

Bonus to cloth: less expensive over the long run (especially if you have more kids later on), kids in cloth diapers statistically speaking end up toilet trained way younger! Not to mention it keeps irritating chemicals away from your little ones sensitive areas AND is better for the environment! 💕

We're having our 4th and huggies has been our favorite! Idk if you're an Amazon prime member but they have monthly (or less- you choose the frequency) delivery and they have huge sales frequently (1/2 off sometimes!!)
