Slightly disappointed 😪

I had an OB appointment on Tuesday for my 18w checkup. Note that I was counting down the days till this appointment because I thought the ob that saw me at 14w said they would be doing an ultrasound/gender reveal. I was SO excited, and when I went, they just took my urine sample and listened to baby's heartbeat... They said they would see me again in two weeks for my anatomy scan. 😢 I'm happy that baby is healthy, but can't help but feel slightly disappointed that they got my hopes so high up. 😔
