Baby shower thank you cards?

This may be a really stupid question; but what did you write in yours ? I have my check list of who got me what, do I pretty much just write a little letter in the card thanking them for each item and saying how grateful I am/cute it all is/ how helpful it was/ how used it will all become? Or just a simple thank you.. There's a lot of space in these cards so I don't want to write just a small little basic thing and have it looking blank and in thoughtful lol, because I am very grateful! It's just some guests I had just met that day from his side (my SO is over seas in the navy) but idk if it's too much to write a paragraph or weird if I hardly know some guests.. lol! I'm a FTM so I'm new to this lol.
