I'm looking into working at a preschool, what kind of shots will they require me to have...?

They might require you to have TDAP if there are infants in the building.

I worked in childcare for about 5 years. I was never required to have any vaccines until last year when there was an outbreak of either measles or mumps, I can't remember which. Any staff who worked with the infants was required to provide proof that they had gotten the MMR vaccine when that happened. And last year we were all required to have a TB test done but I'm not sure why and I hadn't ever been required to before. They highly encouraged us to get a flu shot every year but it was not required, and my doctor always made sure that I was up to date with Tdap since I worked with babies. I would guess that maybe in some states there are requirements regarding vaccines for childcare workers in a licensed facility, and besides that requirements could vary depending on the company.

I think you just have to be up to date on your vaccines, and recommend the flu. Cause kids catch everything 😁😁😁
