Sucking hand at 2 1/2 months?

My baby is 2 1/2 months and recently started sucking his hand? I try to give him a pacifer and sucks on it but goes back to sucking his hand? Is it possible that he is beginning to teeth?

My little girl is 3 and half mos  started doing that at two months and everyone kept telling me no beth its way too early for that and at

My LO has been doing that since about 5 weeks (now 9wks). I don't think its teething, just a way of soothing herself and dealing with all the drool.

My son is 3 months old and he is doing it as well. It just started accompanied with tons of drool. My hubby thinks he is teething, I will be sure to ask doctor at his next appointment.

they just find some taste in their hands, mine started at 3 months and is drooling a lot and I don't things there is any pain they just don't manage the swallowing reflexes perfectly  yet

My lo started doing that when she was teething.  She got her first 2 teeth at 4 months so its very possible your lo is teething.
