suspicious activity

So my boyfriend and I keep arguing about dumb things. Which is like every couple on earth but he chews me out about having double Standards and being a hipocrit a lot. Keep in mind before we dated he was labeled as a player by all the girls that worked with us but I always saw good in him. He seemed to really be turning in the towel about being a player, but I always still had my suspicions. I've been labeled a natural flirt because of my tendencies to be sweet to strangers so I know what it's like to be falsely labeled. But I was never considered a player. I noticed this last fight he's messaged his old girl Bestfriend. I have a guy Bestfriend that I no longer talk to as much anymore because it makes him uncomfortable. Is it wrong for me to ask the same thing because I feel she may like him more than a friend.and it's suspicious because I saw what looked like a reply but the other messages where clearly deleted and there was over 6 phone calls back and forth in one day. That doesn't look like a casual chat to me
