Caffeine?

When you first find out your pregnant can you have caffine or is it bad for the baby?

Yes it's fine! I drank it with my first and she is perfectly normal almost 5 year old with no add lol.  You are aloud 1-2 cups a day or no more than 200mg.  I drink a iced latte once a day...if I don't have caffeine I'll have a really bad headache and I'm sure the stress from that is worse than the actual caffeine.

I tried to give up caffeine especially in the first trimester when ever things so touch and go. Right now I'm almost 38 weeks, not sleeping and sooo exhausted and having my morning cup of coffee 😂

I have drank caffeine with all three pregnancies with pretty strict moderation though. Everything has turned out fine. I think moderation and balance is the key to it all.

I drank one cup of half caff every morning when I was pregnant . Baby boy is just fine!

I've given up caffeine in the first trimester. I've read it is too hard on the developing embryo, and when I had my miscarriage at 6 weeks I was staying under the 200 mcg of caffeine a day, but still drinking caffeine.

Caffeine is fine as long as you're still drinking enough water, too.

I completely stopped drinking coffee, and had terrible headaches, but dr said its ok to drink 2 cups, so i drink coffee every morning and everything is going well,  I'm 20w 2d

You don't want a lot of caffeine. Your doctor will probably tell you no more than 200 milligrams of caffeine (8-12 ounce cup of coffee depending on the coffee).
