My delivery C Section#2
Had a scheduled c section at 8:30 in the morning. I was a little bit nervous but I was ready to see the tenant that kicked and moved all times of the night, had me throwing up,etc. It was eviction time and I was also shutting down the factory (tubes removes). Going out of business everything most go including the doorbell.
Ok got things started was told I was going to get a spinal tap. Mmmm never had one before, only an epidural with my first C Section. I was told they do it plenty of times even with their eyes closed. Ok ill take it. While they were prepping me the lady that was holding my shoulder breath smelled just like bacon...oh my God how I love BACON...the torture of not being able to eat. So they did it and 10 minutes later nothing...can u left a leg they said...hell i can lift both towards the air. No numbness...i started to cry...i failed as a mother already, i cant even get numb. The bacon breathe nurse calmed me down. Then they increased the meds...still no numbness. Then they decides to give me an epidural...yes! It work. Now let's get this show on the road!
Ok tooo much meds. Im numb from the neck down...again! There is a nurse there...cafe mocha breath. I love coffee! She is giving me full play by play on everything the doctors' are doing. Really cant ignorance come my way and make me bliss! When they pulled Kayla out, I thought she was going the scream touch down! I heard her cry and saw her. It felt like there was nobody else in the room. I cried and cried. My beautiful princess was finally here. I thought about my mom who passed away from cancer in April and cried again. She had always told me the love and bond between a mother and daughter is so strong. The bond that ties them together at first sight is unforgettable. This is so true! Hello and welcome Kayla Marie Downs.
