HELP! extreme constipation..

HELP! I am 38+1 and I have been extremely constipated for a long time now. I feel like I have diarrhea, but I can't go (sorry tmi) I have been on stool softeners for two months now and it is NOT helping! Any suggestions? I am very active and drink plenty of water, nothing is helping and it's affecting me emotionally 😩
