Induced having a VBAC?

Question

Has anyone been induced when having a VBAC? I need to be induced at 37 weeks and have been told it will be a 'gentle induction' which still sounds rather invasive to me. Has anyone done this successfully or are you in the same situation as me with concerns?

I'd look up the ACOG VBAC recommendations (just google it) and see how they apply to your situation.

I guess it depends on your doctor. Mine told me if I wanted to do a vbac I would have to go into labor naturally.

They use gentle induction to prevent uterus rupture. I would ask to forge the induction and try naturally. Lots of standing squatting and walking! Also Evening primrose and red raspberry leaf tea!

I was also told if I wanted vbac I would have to go into labor naturally and would not let me go too far past due date. I didn't ask why though bc I'm doing scheduled csection
