I'm 20 I had my first period when I was 12 and it's been irregular since then I would usually go anywhere from 3-6 months with out a period. I lost my virginity a few months ago and now I'm havening my period every month is it possible that sex is what's regulating it?

Do you have an OB/GYN ? I would bring it to his/her attention. When I was younger I had my first period at 14 but it was very irregular , and I would go months without a period and I think the longest has been 7 months. You could have PCOS which is what I have, stands for Polycystic ovarian syndrome which affects your hormone levels. Usually it is diagnosed at your age, I was 18 when I found out and they put me on birth control and my periods have been regular. I'm not trying to freak you out or anything, but these things are always good to know.
