When to buy? Ftm

Im 18weeks now. Just found out last week at our anatomy scan that I'm having a boy and there is nothing wrong with baby or placenta or cervix. Everything checked out... My mom bought me a stroller/ car seat yesterday but I'm still so nervous... When is the right time?  My baby shower is october 29th, should I just wait until after??

I'd wait till after the shower and you know what others buy for you. Baby doesn't really need much.

Just start buying!! I started buying stuff at around 12 weeks ❤️💋 we have almost everything we need and my baby shower isn't until November lol

I think you can go ahead and get some things. I usually keep tags on till closer to due date. A lot of "toys" do t need to be used right away anyways. Newborns sleep so much they need a bouncer or anything like that. It's fun to start getting things so you're not overwhelmed at the very end when all you want to do is lay on the couch.
