Does/did your baby wear headbands?

🇲🇽
I don't have kids yet, so I have no informed opinion on this yet. But I was with a few moms who got into a heated debate about newborns/babys under 1 year wearing headbands. (We are all good friends so no one was overstepping by sharing their opinion--everyone was interested in what the others had to say). So one mom was arguing that headbands can do all kinds of awful damage to a baby's skull. The other mom argued that her baby's headbands were light and couldn't do any harm.  I looked it up afterward because I was curious and I read that it only takes one gram of pressure to move the bones in a baby's (under one year) skull. A headband would need to apply at least one gram of pressure to stay on a head (5 grams of pressure is the weight of a nickel, so 1 gram is nothing).
Anyway, what do you all think? Does/did your baby wear headbands? I'd love to hear why you do or do not think it's safe.
