So I had my IUD removed almost a year ago (I had 2 yrs left on it). My husband pretty much begged me to have another baby and I finally was ok with it. So for a year we've been trying with zero luck. Anyway, yesterday morning at breakfast, out of no where he tells me that I should get my tubes tied?.?. I immediately get defensive and he knows the second I look at him I was pissed. I'm a natural red head; the temperment 'rumors' are true for this lady...Where was I? So before he had a chance to even think about redeeming himself from the shit hole he just put himself in, I defensively reply "why don't you?" I then start crying because he basically was telling me I shouldn't have anymore children, ever. There was no mention of it the rest of the day. This morning we were in the van with our 2 girls (8 &4), on our way to the local high school for a marathon. He out of no where says, "if my doctor says I should have the surgery..." (refering to a vasectomy; he was suggested this as a "cure" for an ongoing pain he had. Something was pinched or whatever) "...I'm going to..." before he could fininsh, I and my red headed temperamental self jumped in saying, "I took my IUD out because YOU wanted another baby. You can't now just decide on your own we're not having children. Thats something we do together not YOU." So again that was the end of the conversation. We'll see if it comes up again. But all while he's being a prick, I am again in the middle of my cycle waiting to see if this is the month we got pregnant. And now that he seems to be on this no more babies kick, I really really hope I am before he does something stupid like secrativly going to get a vasectomy (I don't think he would do that, I'm just not leaving that out as being a possibility). I do want one more. As stated he had to talk me into having the IUD taken out early but, know I really do want one more. Everyone I know is pregnant and I would like to try to have a son even if we ended up with another girl. UGH I don't know whats wrong with this man.
