Abnormal Pap??

The doctor just called and said my most recent pap had slight changes from 3 years ago and now I need a colposcopy. Anyone have experience with this? I'm terrified at the moment!

Eat before too. I ended up light headed. But it's really no biggie. I've had two procedures over the years.

Colposcopy is a simple procedure which is often used as a way to follow up on an abnormal pap smear. Basically, the procedure involves examining the cervix under a magnifying lens, which allows your doctor to look for any areas that might be particularly concerning for precancerous or cancerous spots on the cervix.

And they put vinegar in there as well 
they gonna tell you to take ibuprofhen  a hour before you go i had it done its not that bad after ur just gonna be spotting and have a bit of cramps

I've had two done. I would advise you to take Tylenol beforehand (if they don't prescribe you another painkiller) and if you can, make the appointment at a time when you can go home and rest afterwards. It's painful but it's a quick procedure. In both of mine, my cells came back healthy, i.e. no signs of cancer or anything. I hope this helps!
